Taking the biggest action against inter-state illegal drug smugglers, the district police station Pipliamandi seized a truck and 70 quintals of 05 kg of illegal drug poppy straw from the possession of two inter-state smugglers. The estimated cost of the contraband is Rs 7 crore.
Two accused have been arrested in this case.Gautam Solanki, Additional Superintendent of Police, Narendra Solanki sub-divisional officer, direction of police section Malhargarh and station in-charge Pipliyamadi Niri.
On receiving the information from the informer about the smuggling of illegal drug Dodachura led by Neeraj Sarwan, the police team, while verifying the information and taking action, blocked the common road near Shri Sawaliya Seth Petrol Pump located on Pipliyamandi Manasa Road and arrested the accused Vishnu father Chatra Gurjar age 26. Year resident of Dumada police station Mangliyawas district Ajmer Rajasthan and Sadiq Khan father Sattar Khan caste Muslim age 27 years resident of Somalpur police station Ramganj district Ajmer Rajasthan Truck serial number RJ.09.GE.0084 in possession of 70 quintal 05 kg illegal drug Dodachura.
Accused Vishnu Gurjar and Sadiq Khan were arrested and crime under Section 8/15, 29 NDPS Act was registered against them and investigation was done. The accused are being interrogated regarding the sources of illegal drugs.
