In the closing session of the Leadership and Management Productivity (LAMP) Workshop for Women Executives, Atanu Bhowmick, Director In-Charge at RSP, urged 25 lady executives to prioritize self-improvement for their career advancement. Held at the HRD Centre on April 27, 2024, the workshop saw the presence of esteemed guests including Mr. S R Suryawanshi, ED (Works), Dr. B K Hota, ED (M&HS), and Tarun Misra, ED (P&A) with Additional Charge of ED (Projects). Organized by B-More Consulting, the workshop featured industry veterans like Dr. Shoeb Ahmed, Former Director (SAIL), and Roshan Joseph and Ajoy Joseph as faculty members.
Mr. Bhowmick emphasized the essential pillars of leadership, stressing the importance of team happiness, engagement, information, and productivity. Mr. Suryawanshi urged the lady executives to assume leadership roles in their respective domains, regardless of their current positions. Echoing this sentiment, Mr. Misra expressed optimism about seeing more women in higher positions and leadership roles within RSP.
Certificates were awarded to the participants by DIC Bhowmick, Mr. Suryawanshi, and Mr. Misra, with special recognition given to team ‘Sharks’ for their outstanding performance during the three-day workshop. Dr. Shoeb Ahmed commended the workshop's objective and lauded the management for grooming future leaders. Roshan Joseph praised the participants for their enthusiasm and eagerness to learn and perform.
