A car jumped into the dry canal of the North Koyel at Lotanya under the Hussainabad police station limits today. There is no loss of life.
SDPO Hussainabad Mukesh Kumar Mahto said the car had no occupant except its driver who on his retrieval from the car in the canal escaped.
Sources said the driver fled from the scene as he was in utter panic and blurred of decisions.
Police have found car papers which showed the car in the ownership of Arif Anwar of Ramkanda under the Garhwa district.
The car has been detained by the police and investigation is on. The car was on way to Nabinagar in Bihar from Japla in Jharkhand's Palamu.
The incident took place around 10 am today.
It was the villagers who got the upside down car in right posture.
There has been significant damages to the car.
It is believed the car must be in high speed which its driver couldn't manage and this jumping off the car from the canal road to inside the dry canal occurred. End
